RIP VAN WINKLE AND THE LEGEND OF THE SLEEPY HOLLOW by MARINA GONZALEZ

There are two stories:
1) RIP VAN WINKLE
Rip had a farm, but he didn’t work. He liked going to the bar and talking to the men.
One day Rip walked to the mountain and he saw a man. The man had a big barrel. Rip and the man walked up the mountain. There was a big building and a lot of men. Rip had a drink and he closes his eyes.
When he opened his eyes, he walked down the mountain to his town. He didn’t know the people and the houses because he slept for 20 years in the mountain.
2) THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW
Ichabo Crame was a teacher. He loved Katrina and he wanted her father’s farm. But Katrina loved Ichabod and Brom.
One night Icahbood went to a dance to katrina’s farm and Brom talked one day he saw a ghost. The ghost didn’t have head.
Katrina didn’t want to talk to Icabod. That night Ichabod saw the ghost.
Ichabod wasn’t in the town and the people talked that he was dead, but one day a farmer went to New York and he saw Ichabod. Ichabod told him that he was afraid of the ghost.
The farmer told the story when he arrived in town and Brom smiled because he had Katrina and her father’s farm.
